Great picture! Would you mind disabling the yellow timestamp, though? It makes the picture less valuable, and the date is already available in the EXIF. Thanks! :-) Syced (talk) 08:32, 11 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

OK! Sorry. In the future when I take a picture I'll keep it off. Jidanni (talk) 07:02, 22 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Identification

[edit]

Hi @Jidanni, the plant on this photo is not Iris pseudacorus. Please take a closer look on the "inside" of the flower - the pattern of the dots and the overall flower structure are different. It might be Trimezia longifolia or Cipura xanthomelas but like Iris pseudacorus these species are not native to Taiwan either. I move this and the other file to the category for unidentified Iridaceae for now, but the files need further attention. Cheers, Nova (talk) 11:35, 4 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

OK. I crossed it out. Well they were planted in front of a house, not in the middle of the woods. So they are probably not native. Jidanni (talk) 12:17, 6 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks. OK, so it might be Trimezia longifolia, but I'm not familiar enough with the species to be sure. Nova (talk) 15:37, 6 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
