When I was at Vincent Massey Elementary School in St. Andrews NB they showed us this image and I had the impression it was supposed to be our beach in St. Andrews. On Saint Andrew's day which is November 30th. I did not think it was realistic that these deep keeled vessels would be anchoring so close to the shore, people would be moving about wearing their fancy stuff, and that kids would stop and collect starfish on the -20c beach.
