Den Helder[編集]

A bit between the northwest tip of the Netherlands and the edge of the image has been floodfilled with grey, where it is in fact sea. Otherwise the map is cool! You might consider adding all lines that are served with high-speed trains; i.e. add Amsterdam-Arnhem-Germany, where ICEs run, unfortunately all at 140 km/h. You're right, I've corrected it. As for the ICE route, I've added it, but fear it raises the question of what exactly makes it high-speed rail? Trains aren't even allowed to go 200km/h on the upgraded part between Amsterdam and Utrecht. I mean, how should it be marked? Not HSL-Oost. And then why should Breda be excluded, as it will be serviced by Fyra? It opens up a whole can of worms, really.
And there is another flaw on the map, by the way, namely the fact that there should be some blue on the line north and south of Rotterdam. Unfortunately, I haven't a clue as to where it should begin and end. SergioGeorgini (talk) 22:45, 18 November 2009 (UTC)[返信]
Thanks for the correction to Den Helder. A small I noticed just now: a bit of Belgian coastline missing where the Schelde river enters the Westerschelde. Estuaries are always difficult when you want to draw a clear, fixed coastline...
As for the HSL-Oost: you're quite right that this is not really high-speed rail; I prefer thinking of high-speed services, or services run with high-speed trains. But there is a case to be made to exclude it, after all; especially now that you mention Breda...
The bits in Rotterdam are actually quite small. Referring to the maps on the Prorail website, I'd say south of Rotterdam it starts at nr. 1 or even slightly above that point; north of rotterdam it is just outside the station, as the high-speed track makes its turn from west to north. Note that the HSL Zuid runs on conventional tracks whilst passing through Rotterdam Centraal. See [1] for the listings of what is high-speed and what is not; eg. there are nine kilometres between Schiphol Airport and the start of the high-speed line, and then another eighteen-kilometre gap running through Rotterdam. —Sladen (talk) 16:10, 30 January 2010 (UTC)[返信]
