This picture does not actually show the tunnel itself. This image is looking eastward from a point just east of West Street, under the MTA parking garage. The flooded structure in the foreground is the traffic viaduct to the tunnel coming from West Street southbound. The tunnel itself is off to the right (south) in the background, beyond the red-metallic pedestrian overpass with the white and yellow road sign on it.
