@Burzuchius: How does giving it a Spanish+English mixed name help? Current name is understandable enough and is anglicized, unlike the other name. CuriousGolden (talk) 19:18, 27 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@CuriousGolden: :Is "idioma" an English word? The old name of the file, "Idioma azerí.png", was written correctly in Spanish. According to the criteria of not renaming, there's no reason to favor English over other languages, so the Spanish name was perfectly good. But you have changed the name to mixing languages: "Idioma Azerbaijani.png", where the word "idioma" is written in Spanish (it means "language") but the word "Azerbaijani" is written in English. Other possible names: "Idioma azerbaiyano.png" (if one wants to use the full name for the language in Spanish), "Azerbaijani language.png", .... Why would it be in Spanish when this is the main file used for all Wikipedia versions, including English Wikipedia. We can change "idioma Azerbaijani" to "Azerbaijani Language" or something like that. CuriousGolden (talk) 19:29, 27 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
According to our criteria, using any language in a filename is accepted, so a file about the Azerbaijani language could be entitled "Азербайджанский язык.png", "Azərbaycan dili.png", "Aserbaidschanische Sprache.png", etc. — any of these filenames would be OK.
