Imperial standard

[edit]

The title would be misleading as no source indicates there's any imperial standard of the Qing Emperor. The zig-zag border is seen as traditional decorations of all flags, dated far before Qing dynasty. Thus this might be just a variant of Yellow dragon flag. --Ericmetro (talk) 14:46, 29 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Source from Japanese Archive (1912)

[edit]

No official imperial standard established: Source (1912/宣統3年): 旗章徽章及御紋章, answers to the Japanese Ambassador: "The Imperial standard and the standard of the Empress had never beed adopted by the Qing Emperor"/ "皇帝旗皇后旗未勒定". --Ericmetro (talk) 16:37, 26 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]
