Sources/Accuracy?

It looks like Vishnu Sahib created this image- could you provide any of the sources that you used? I remember reading recently that current research doesn't regard Sanskrit as the ancestor of modern Indo-Aryan languages- rather that some modern IA languages are the descendants of languages that descended in parallel with Sanskrit.
