I have intentionally not included the names of the capitals mentioned, as that would make the map too jumbled and confusing. The map is for illustrative purposes only and if anyone does not know where Vienna, Szczecin or Trieste are or, for that matter Budapest, Bucharest, etc, then they can simply follow the blue links and find out! If anyone is unhappy with the lack of capitals, please make another map rather than amending this one.

Same goes for the intentionally oversimplified colours: Soviet - red, non-Soviet - blue, Asia and Africa - white.
