Inaccuracies and misleading depiction based on outdated historiography

This is quite a shitty map, historically inaccurate and looking like it was made by a kid with a sharpie. Any sources for these arbitrary Balkan state names (it says it's an original work of the author)? Please fix or remove this... Sideshow Bob (talk) 14:16, 15 March 2016 (UTC)

I completely agree with fellow editor Sideshow Bob, this map is inaccurate and misleading, and it uses outdated sources, most of which perpetuate 19th century historiography: few are modern iteration of the 19th century authors but majority of the referenced ones are exactly that, 19th and early 20th century works. Balkans part is outright misrepresented, and creator misses out on the most important historian and author, John A. Fine, and his two volume seminal book on the area and the period, work which completely contradict the depictions of this map--Santasa99 (talk) 11:46, 25 April 2020 (UTC)
