Cropping[edit]

Good choice, a 3x4 or 2x3 format is preferable even if it shows someone else in the photo, see the critic at Wikipedia May Be a Font of Facts, but It’s a Desert for Photos by Noam Cohen: "Any gallery of hideous Wikipedia photographs would include the former N.B.A. star George Gervin, who is standing stiffly in a suit in a shot that is cropped longer and thinner than would be typical even for a basketball player." --Martin H. Other wikis can choose their own cropped version of the image, but I think this one is best for the English Wikipedia article for Jeremy Lin. It fits well into the infobox; I tested the others and the long landscape one is too busy with too many people, and the portrait one is too tall and leaving too much whitespace on both sides of the image.
