What is the base of this map ?[edit]
This map is used on various articles, but it is not clear on what base it was made. The "Turkmeneli" is just some national project of a political organization (there were plenty of them during the post-WWI Peace conferences for the same region, about every quare meter there was claimed by several nationalist comittees, Arabs, Turks, Assyrtian, Kurds, Armenians etc.) and not an ethnographic map showing where there are Turkmen settlements in Iraq, but this is not clearly explained and thus leads to misunderstanding. --Pylambert (talk) 22:58, 30 July 2011 (UTC)
