I think it would be very helpful to have polarities of the voltages marked on this diagram. The signs of the voltage used to then write KVL depend on that, and although one could view the KVL equation as a statement of those polarities, beginners won't understand that. I prefer the notation + v_n - rather than arrows, because the arrows are already used for current direction, which is conceptually different. Ccrrccrr (talk) 22:02, 25 August 2019 (UTC)
