Hello,

David Barkes here. I just added a link to the Bell Island Page of a photo that was taken in 1987 of me landing a Labrador Helicopter on the pinnacle at the tip of Bell Island. I didn't do a very good job of it and am wondering if you could clean up the editing I did. Also, I am wondering if you or anyone you know, knows how to add a reference to the photo on Google Earth. There is some way of marking Google Earth so anyone zooming in can click on the marker and the image pops up. I thought it would be neat to have this photo displayed for the very tip of Bell Island. BTW I had one of our SAr Techs take the picture standing on the main part of the Island. I own the picture and feel free to use or distribute it. If you require any further info please contact me at effects@telus.net. I am under the assumption that you are intimate with Bell Island.

Sincerely,

David [06:49, 23 January 2007 (UTC)]
