à journal article in Nederlands Tijdschrift voor Natuurkunde, August 2022, page 28-32 (PDF) identifies several persons otherwise.

  • 2nd row, 4th from left (nr.12 at NTvT): not L. Polak, but N.N.;
  • 2nd row, 1st from right (nr.7 at NTvT): not Herman Woltjer (who was teaching at TH Bandoeng in Indonesia in July 1927, when this photo was taken), but his brother Jan Woltjer;
  • 3rd row, 1st from right (nr.16 at NTvT): either Lev Solomonovich Polak or N.N.

Authors Jan Engelen en Louk Lapikás also date the photograph in July 1927, not in 1926. Their findings look convincing. Vysotsky (留言) 14:00, 10 August 2023 (UTC)[回覆]
