Some minor errors that may need to be fixed[编辑]

(Moved from enwiki because I accidentally posted this there)

  • Should there be a thin black line down the Waterloo & City line?
  • There is an OSI between Dalston Kingsland and Dalston Junction (which isn't on the map).
  • Crossrail might need to be marked as under construction, maybe by decreasing opacity to 0.5 (text to 0.75 for readability).
  • For future proofing, the Croxley Rail Link could be drawn (also marked as under construction).

  • I add the middle dark blue stripe (the official font color of W&C line flag box) for W&C line because its base color      is uncomfortably close to DLR's      especially with the middle white stripe that lightens the visual impression when the map is downsampled or zoomed out. Not to mention that they're physically close to each other at Bank and Monument stations.
  • I for once omitted it because 1) I'm lazy; 2) better to change train at Canonbury than trek for 160 metres. These are the same reasons I left out Kilburn-Brondesbury OSIs because it's just painless to be done at West Hampstead station.
  • I don't think it makes any difference to reduce the opacity of the Crossrail path unless some of the section has already begun operation, but paler font for station names indeed helps.
  • I'm aware of this extension/realignment (which is the very reason I bend Watford DC line closer to Metropolitan line) as well as the Northern line extension to Battersea. I don't include them yet because neither of these will be opened before the end of 2015, unlike Crossrail and the 3 new acquired lines for Overground. -- Sameboat - 同舟 (留言) 12:12, 18 August 2014 (UTC)[回复]
Also apparently there's a limited Overground service to Battersea Park on the South London line (connecting Wandsworth Road). The dotted stripe showing that it's limited would have to be coloured differently from the white centre stripe though. Jc86035 (talkcontributionsuploads) 12:48, 18 August 2014 (UTC)[回复]
Done:
  • Paler font color of future Crossrail and Overground station labels.
  • Paler station symbols and route paths for future Overground lines.
  • Battersea Parklimited service branch.

Errors[编辑]

The tooltip for Fenchurch Street says it is a "Nationa Rail" station, where it should be National Rail. 178.251.178.164 16:34, 24 August 2018 (UTC)[回复]

Also, the Greenford branch was not taken over by TfL in 2017. 178.251.178.164 16:39, 24 August 2018 (UTC)[回复]

Just noting these were both fixed. the wub "?!" 23:20, 19 March 2024 (UTC)[回复]

Castle Green[编辑]

I'm not sure Castle Green should be included. The site is safeguarded, but there's no funding to actually build it yet. The map doesn’t include any other planned stations, even Old Oak Common which is actually under construction. the wub "?!" 23:23, 19 March 2024 (UTC)[回复]

@The wub and Jc86035: I added Old Oak Common to the regular/zones/alt. Admittedly the location in the map is not ideal from a geographical perspective, but I expect the surrounding routes would need drastic rework if new Overground stations be constructed for providing interchange with Old Oak Common. I kept Castle Green simply because it was convenient. I am open to hiding it if there is a very strong reaction from the London rail community. It's your (excellent) map so if you prefer to include planned stations that's fine by me. Thanks for adding OOC. Given TfL's funding constraints I doubt the nearby Overground stations will happen, but let's wait and see. the wub "?!" 19:28, 23 March 2024 (UTC)[回复]
@The wub: One thing I am not certain: Do you think TfL would call OOC an interchange for the Mainline once the Elizabeth line part of the station is finished and open to passengers? Sameboat - 同舟 (talk · contri.) 22:39, 23 March 2024 (UTC)[回复]
I think so, Great Western Main Line trains will be calling there too. It would probably deserve a National Rail symbol at that point. the wub "?!" 23:07, 23 March 2024 (UTC)[回复]
