- I've noticed that too. There's no red, yellow or lila in the map, although the map key says so. Also Malta is yellow, but should be green. I tried to upload a corrected png, but the upload didn't work, maybe due to a permission issue. --Fkv (talk) 07:07, 29 July 2016 (UTC)

Dear Glennznl,
as per your change the map is largely incomprehensible as many of the colors of the map don't correspond with the legend/ color key. Also the useful additions by User:Redeemer were reverted.
I do not understand the reason you cited for the revert and I would propose to undo it.

- Oh, I don't have the permission to do that, since I don't have the 500 "non bot-like edits" it requires. As this is basically an image hosting service, that would mean 500 images uploaded, taking of which in decent quality will take people years. So obviously WMC doesn't want contributions. @Glennznl: This is a map about a vague hypothetical concept. The details that were changed by the three suspected sockpuppets (Satoshi Kondo, 일성강 and Kumasojin 熊襲) do not really matter that much as the depicted regions are apparently not based on any precise data or sources anyway.
As far as I can see Redeemer's version had a good layout and the colors matched the (extra) legend in the main article de:Makrofamilie. This version should be reinstated.
If you are concerned about the (minor) changes to the map layout of User:Satoshi Kondo we could alternativly revert to the version of 26th February 2017 which also seems to have the correct colors.
Btw, were does the requirement of "500 non bot-like edits" come from that Redeemer mentions?

- @KaiKemmann and Redeemer: I have reverted the file back to the 26 February 2017 version, per your suggestion. Versions after that have very a simplified representation of language groups. Redeemer is of course welcome to edit the file again. --Glennznl (talk) 12:14, 12 December 2023 (UTC)
