Is this really a fire engine

Are we sure this is really a fire engine. It looks like a horse-drawn overhead way maintenance wagon to me. Unfortunately it doesn't seem to be listed on the TMS web site, and I cannot find more about it. -- Chris j wood (talk) 10:13, 3 October 2018 (UTC)

Further searches reveal a couple of (unfortunately not openly licenced) photographs that confirm this is indeed a horse-drawn overhead way maintenance wagon, that formerly belonged to Manchester Tramways. You can see them here and here. -- Chris j wood (talk) 10:25, 3 October 2018 (UTC)
