Deletion Request

Hello,
I am the author of the map, but as I am not working on wikipedia and wikimedia any more, I noticed the deletion request only now.
In the discussion of the deletion request there ist doubt concerning the source of the map. In fact, I took a blank map (the source of which I cannot remember any more, it's just too long ago) and added all the labels myself. I still have the Photoshop file on my disk, if anyone needs proof of this.
Unfortunately, I do not remember which book served as the source of information on where all the tribes and town were to be placed. I only remember there was map very similar to the one I made.
I can assure that the map in wikimedia is definitely no simple scan, but made by me on the basis of a very similar map in some publication I cannot remember any more. Sorry about that. I don't know if this makes future discussion any easier.

- Falls es noch jemanden interessiert, die Quelle ist mit an Sicherheit grenzender Wahrscheinlichkeit die Karte, die hinten in der deutschen Reclam-Ausgabe des Gallischen Kriegs von Caesar abgedruckt ist. Sie ist wirklich "sehr ähnlich", aber eben nicht identisch, also mit Sicherheit kein Scan. Grüße --Kpisimon (talk) 16:29, 18 July 2014 (UTC)
