Changes by BjKa 2016-12-12[edit]

I guess I'm not supposed to list every change in the "comments" box, so here's again:

  • Corrected spellings: Courcelette, Foucaucourt, Rosières, Péronne, Hébuterne, Flaucourt, Mont-Saint-Quentin
  • Box around "RESERVE" widened
  • Date fonts unified, southern "15 Sept" moved
  • Péronne simplified and "place icon" added
  • Minor rail at Péronne corrected according to
File:Extrait_du_canevas_de_tir_britannique_France_Sheet_62C_N.W_du_8_janvier_1917.jpg
  • Label "Flers" moved slightly

Hats off to User Grandiose for doing such a nice recreation of the original Army map, but what does it say about the sense for quality around here and on Wikipedia, when images with so many factual errors get voted excellent without anyone checking their content? I suppose the official doctrine is: As long as you're copying from an authoritative source you can propagate any obvious bullshit forever... --BjKa (talk) 15:30, 12 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]
