Hello, I was reviewing your map of coypu (Myocastor coypus) distributions and I have a few corrections you might want to consider. (1) Your distributions for North America are in error. You have two populations in the Pacific Northwest that are disjunct in approximately Wyoming and Idaho/Montana. to my knowledge there are not populations in those locations. Your distributions in the gulf coast should following the Mexico-US boarder to just past Big Bend National Park. Going north up the Mississippi valley the are as far north as northern Arkasal, but not as far north as ypu place them. On the east coast, they are in coastal North Carolina, Virginia as well as the Chesapeake Bay. (2) From what I have been informed nutria in Kenya are restricted to the interior and do not reach the coast. (3) Nutria are throughout peninsular Italy and eastern edge of Black Sea as well as the border area between Israel and Jordan. (4) The also have population established in China and South Korea, but I don't have distribution maps for those regions. You might want to look at the following resources: http://www.nwrc.usgs.gov/special/nutria/ http://nas.er.usgs.gov/queries/FactSheet.asp?speciesID=1089
