Space/Time Gravity

[edit]

I have watched and been a constant fan for many. many years of Michelle Thaller, Astronomer. Recently a comment by her on the concept of Space/Time and Gravity caught my interest as it concerned the concept of Black Holes. I view for graphic representation the concept of space as a large ballon, and the existence of a “black hole” being an opening in that “boundary” of space/time. A hole implies an opening out of/into another area, another dimension? Can a black hole be conceptualized as such, and if yes, what lies on the other side of that opening in space/time gravity as we view the phenomenon? I do not recall even reading of Einstein having a predictable concept of what is experienced going into, passing the event horizon and entering what??? I so long to be a part of a formal study program In Astronomy leading to an earned PhD! That desire is what has been driving my love of Astronomy and my amazement of the space/time gravity concept being the initeria fhat 13.5 billon years ago yielded what we now know as “space” with all of the formation of the known celestial bodies and the yet unknown!
