Photo is not Mitch Bouyer[edit]

It turns out that the photograph misidentified since the 1950s as being that of Mitch Bouyer is actually that of A-ca-po-re, a Ute musician. The photograph was taken by Charles A. Nast at his Denver, Colorado studio circa 1895-1899 in a series of Ute and Jicarilla Apache portraits which reside in the Western History Department of the Denver Public Library.

I should add that the original glass photonegative is in the Denver Public Library Special Collections: Ute Indians, "Acapore" - call number X-31214 - image file ZZR710031214. Frank Prchal (talk) 20:59, 26 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
