Would anyone object to using different colours on this map (and, I presume, similar ones)? I'm colourblind, myself, and it's very difficult for me to distinguish between the shades of orange and green used here, particularly on thumbnails. -- Schnee (talk) 14:17, 22 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for pointing this out. How much do you know about other types of colour blindness? (don't want to change colours only to find out that they are bad for lots of other people) If you could suggest colours that are easier to distinguish, that would be great.

You're welcome! Hmm, I admittedly don't know that much about colour blindness in general, but there is a colour blindness filter for website testing (for accessibility) here that also handles images and that can simulate a variety of colour blindnesses. -- Schnee (talk) 14:05, 23 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
