This photo is not of Trillium Lake. It was taken at Mirror Lake.— Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.111.0.152 (talk • contribs) 06:53, 21 June 2010 (UTC) (UTC)[reply]

I agree that it is Mirror Lake in the foreground. Slightly to the right of the center face (below the peak) is Little Zigzag Canyon, which clearly lines up with Mirror Lake. It is easy to see how this Trillium Lake photo has trees in the foreground look very much the same as at Mirror Lake. The proper solution is to rename the photo, but with all its notoriety, that might not be so simple. EncMstr (talk) 23:28, 30 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

This is nothing like the view of Mt. Hood from Mirror Lake. Mirror Lake sits behind a small ridge with a large downhill slope beyond it. The ridge and its trees completely obscure the mountain's flanks. Trillium is the only place I've been able to find with an unobstructed view looking up the mountain's flanks. (And yet, if it was at Trillium, the main groomed ski area wouldn't be off to the far right, so it's not Trillium!) -- 24.21.158.96 07:26, 15 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]
