These are images of creek chubs, Semotilus atromaculatus, which belong to the Minnow family rather than the sucker family. Redhorses, Moxostoma spp., have large silvery scales, mouths that are oriented downward, and anal fins that are much longer (reaching beyond the base of the tail fin when depressed).

The fish are incorrectly identified in the text as "suckers".
