I doubt severely that this picture shows a DECONSTRUCTION. To me it appears rather that this is a picture taken around the 1970s during ERECTION of a containment. These layers of armoring steel visible wouldn't be such accurate if they were going to tear down that building.

The name of this photograph: Containment destruction.jpg is false and misleading[edit]

The name of this photograph: "Containment destruction.jpg" is false and misleading.

I have just corrected a blatant error in one of the figure descriptions: This containment building is clearly under construction because the envelopes of the tendon cables for the post-tensioning of the prestressed concrete building have not yet been drown in concrete. During the dismantling operations, it is impossible to deconstruct such a a large reinforced and pre-stressed concrete structure in such a clean way. Concrete residues will always strongly adhere to the tendons shrouts and to the rebar. It is therefore impossible to separate so netly the tendons, or the reinforcement bar, from the concrete. Some tendons enveloppes are even not yet in place. The previous caption of this photograph was wrong and I just corrected it.

This photograph must be correctly renamed as "Containment_construction.jpg" and properly recategorized in a category dealing with the construction of nuclear plants. In advance, thank you very much for your help. Shinkolobwe (talk) 13:17, 9 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
