China vs People's Republic of China.svg[编辑]
I am astonished that krassotkin attacksdetracts the user Fry1989 because of needless tweaks in capitalization in the file name, but is completely silent about actions of Illegitimate Barrister (留言 · 贡献) on
File:Naval Ensign of the People's Republic of China.svg (hist • logs • abuse log). If to deprive Fry1989 of the file mover privilege, then Illegitimate Barrister must be at least severely admonished. Incnis Mrsi (留言) 10:31, 9 August 2018 (UTC)
- Incnis Mrsi: I'm sorry, but I had no purpose to attack anyone. Please do not use this word against me. I can not investigate all edits of all users. If you have relevant proposals, you can open a discussion. If you are interested in my opinion, please let me know, I will investigate and speak out. --sasha (krassotkin) 10:43, 9 August 2018 (UTC)
- Please understand that currently all naval ensign files are named "Naval Ensign of...". All the names are harmonised such that only the country name differs. Illegitimate Barrister renaming a few of them to "Naval ensign of..." takes them out of that name harmonisation, which is my reason for undoing those renames. To call it "needless tweaks in capitalisation" shows a lack of understanding in the situation. Capitalisation is part of the harmonisation of file names. Whether it is with a capital E or lowercase E, they all need to be the same for them to remain harmonised. I have no objection to Illegitimate Barrister as a user nor do I think they deserve any sort of admonishment, but in this situation they were mistaken. Fry1989 eh? 17:53, 9 August 2018 (UTC)
- I looked at the history of renaming these files. The "harmonization" of these names is only a consequence of your activity and war of edits. --sasha (krassotkin) 09:23, 10 August 2018 (UTC)
- Once more, another bad faith assumption. Did I personally harmonise these files? Yes. Did I do it through a "war of edits"? No. Your language towards me is incredibly hostile and in bad faith and I do not appreciate it one bit. The projects are case sensitive, maintaining the same names with the same case letters is imperative. I don't care what case letter is used, but they should be the same.
