That's not a N 11!! It's a N 12.

If this replica is accurate, and I think it is, this aircraft is a Nieuport 11 and the title is correct: note, for example, the wing struts: they are vertical on the Nieuport 11 while they are oblique on the Nieuport 12. --M.L.WattsAir Mail ✈ 17:25, 27 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Both are wrong, this is a single seat version of the Nieuport 10 - note the cabane struts (fuselage to wing struts), which form two fore-aft vees up front and single vertical struts aft (while missing the later inverted vee or u brace) - and vertical interplane vee struts. The plan view and side view closely matches the N.10 as well. The N.12 differs only in having the interplane vee struts canted out, while the N.11, N.17 and other scouts have a cabane made of pair of single straight struts and and inverted vee or u (on the N.11 prototype) but no vertical struts in the rear cabane grouping, and no vees in the forward set.NiD.29 (talk) 05:22, 28 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]
