Inaccurate

This map is unfortunately inaccurate. Vesterålen consists of the five municipalities Hadsel, Sortland, Bø, Øksnes and Andøy. The northern part of Austvågøya island is part of Vesterålen, but is not marked in red here. Whereas all of Hinnøya island, part of Vågan and Tjeldsund (with Tjeldøya island), all of Lødingen, Kvæfjord, Harstad and former Bjarkøy municipality are marked in red, but are not a part of Vesterålen. In later years, Lødingen municipality has had administrative ties to Vesterålen, but it is not geographically a part of Vesterålen. Blue Elf (トーク) 17:38, 16 January 2016 (UTC)
