Question from the bar wiki

[edit]

Hello Brichtig, I'm happy that you started to improve the bavarian wikipedia and removed the Middle German Erzgebirgisch (I don't know the Erzgebirisch dialect but they are probably middle German (at least after the definition) but I have further questions ;) --Buachamer (talk) 06:46, 22 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Upper German - Middle German

[edit]

The old map showed that the Upper German dialects reach further north (almost to Erfurt). It's possible that the old map is wrong. If I look at the map in the wenker atlas for -pf- (e.g. Äpfel) (see there) then the Upper German reagion seem to reach further north, too, doesn't it? --Buachamer (talk) 06:46, 22 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

North Bavarian

[edit]

The North Bavarian language corner in Saxony is very small but in your picture it is even smaller than it is. If I don't specially seach for it I cannot see it. Our man from Südvogtland (see there) told us that the Bavarian corner is the complete corner going to South (see de:Oberes_Vogtland). The Wenker Atlas seem to show the same there, too. --Buachamer (talk) 06:46, 22 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Old map

[edit]

What was the exact problem with the old map that was removed as wrong? --Buachamer (talk) 06:46, 22 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
