What GE Building is this from?

These translate to

English: PCC Green Hornet on line 22 on Clark Street Bridge, 1950

and

English: This black and white shot I made from the 28th floor of the General Electric Building in Chicago in 1950.

It was transferred to Commons in 2008, and based on the file description, User:Foroa created a new category named Category:General Electric Building, Chicago.

I can't find any General Electric Building near the Clark Street Bridge. Most of the buildings at that location appear to be newer than 1950, which makes this harder. The only famous "General Electric Building" I can find in Chicago was the GE Midwest headquarters, built in 1941 at 840 South Canal Street (41.8709°N 87.6401°W / 41.8709; -87.6401 (840 S. Canal St.), bounded by Canal Street on the west, Cabrini Street on the north, Clinton Street on the west, Arthington Street on the south).

Perhaps the GE Building in 1950 was 44.8866°N 87.6314°W / 44.8866; -87.6314 (111 W. Wacker Dr.) on the southwest corner where OneEleven (111 W. Wacker Dr.) was built in 2007–2015, and the warehouse in the photo background is the Hiram Sibley Warehouse that was at 315–331 N. Clark St. until the 1970s, on the northeast corner at 44.8881°N 87.6306°W / 44.8881; -87.6306 (321 N. Clark St.) where 321 N. Clark St. now stands, and the camera was aimed down and toward the northeast. --Closeapple (talk) 08:38, 20 July 2016 (UTC)
