Conclusions of the analysis[edit]

  • The patrolling system allows the good edits to go live immediately, but also bad edits (bringing both good and bad for the project)
  • The sighting (flagged revisions) system never (ideally) allows harm to happen to the project, but delays the good edits from going live.
Note by the author: personally I prefer less immediacy in favor of a truly "anyone can edit" wiki, without the protection barrier.--Waldir talk 20:32, 3 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
