this, as i understand it, is an image of a moss or a lichen and should not be confused with the kind of rock with the same name, it could be confused with this as it looks similar, maybe some extra description should come with this image to not make the mistake to use the image for the wrong article. I am editing the description : "This is a spanish moss and should not be confused with the geological term for volcanic glass threads or fibers formed when small particles of molten material are thrown into the air and spun out by the wind into long hair-like strands." to the image-description.
