Wouldn't it make more sense to mirror this image so that the '0' million years ago appears on the right side of the x-axis; as is done all too often with horizontal time scales? I don't know if there exists a consensus about this matter, so I'm merely suggesting.

Also, there is a spelling error;

it should read "Other extinction events". Drop the plural "extinctionS".
