The picture used as evidence to accuse the Germans of using people as hostages and especially the priest, well again looking at this picture with an even point of view, there is nothing in it as evidence that the Germans were not doing anything more or less than the Poles ,British ,Americans and all armies did, and that is round up people and talk to them , as there is no sign of brutality or even threats of being shot, as the trooper has his gun over his shoulder, there may have been other Germans threatening the people, but there are absolutely no signs of it ,or that the Priest is a hostage, it could be argued that out of respect he is allowed to stand. So why is it excepted as evidence against the Germans as evidence of brutal behaviour
