This is supposedly not Georg Büchner! According to a correction in the newspaper Frankfurter Rundschau from January 14th/15th, 2012 which also used this picture in an article about him, this picture is result of a mistake by literature scientist Walther Killy who used this picture in his Literaturlexikon without waiting for the latest results of the Büchner research. Büchner was blond/fair-haired and never member of any kind of freemasonry. Killy died before he had a chance to correct his error.
