This is not a perfect representation of the presidential standard. There should be a heraldic rose in the middle of the Cross of Liberty, not a roundel. 130.230.4.13 20:45, 23 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Cross of Liberty[edit]

Apart from 1, also 2, 3 and 4 show that the Cross of Liberty is not a detailed reproduction of the actual medal but a simplified representation. This is also shown in the original drawing by Olof Eriksson, publised in the final report on the flag committee (Komiteamietintö 1970: A 1). I have uploaded a drawing in Commons: 5. The size of the Cross in the standard is 3 × 3 units, centered in the upper hoist canton (which is 4 units high and 5 wide). I hope this version could be substituted in the drawing of the stadard.
