Wrong orbit[edit]

@Tomruen: The image shows Haumea crossing inside Neptune, and Makemake coming very close. H's perihelion is >34 au and M's is >38, so both should be noticeably outside Neptune at all times. Tbayboy (talk) 14:21, 28 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the check. The orbits are correct (never go within 35 or 38 AUs in 3D space), but it does seem to be a perspective issue since they are inclined from the ecliptic. I'll remake it viewed at a greater distance which should help. Maybe I should try some 3D red/blue glasses versions? Tomruen (talk) 20:06, 28 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]
I don't think pulling out will help much. I hadn't thought the inclination would have that much of an effect, but it does. I should have done a 35 cos 30 before mentioning it. Tbayboy (talk) 21:05, 28 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]
