Source of Map?

What is the source of this map and the information it presents? Several Wikipedia articles make statements about the ROC's territorial claims either without citing sources or else relying on original research. If this map is based on an appropriate source, that source should be cited in those articles. Benjamin Hurst (トーク) 20:55, 1 October 2015 (UTC)

I'm also interested in the source too. ROC does not specifically define its claims in the Constitution, but this map is making very firm claims which I haven't seen evidence for. For example, the ROC has clarified many times that they have recognized Mongolia as an independent state since 1946. Eclipsed830 (トーク) 06:42, 4 January 2021 (UTC)

I tried digging into the source of the map in this archived discussion: [[1]]. But the main point is that we could find no reliable secondary sources to confirm these claims. The maps seem to be based on this one [2] but only the first one is RS, and it's historical (the 2nd is OR). Wrong title for Hainan

The Hainan administered by PRC as a province itself and claimed by ROC as a part of Guangdong province, was not exactly, as indicated by this map, a "Special Administrative Region(SAR)" as which Hongkong and Macao are administered by PRC. Perhaps a mistaken transcription of "Special Economic Zone(SEZ)" set by PRC. But rather simply erase it than attach this title would be better for no political difference.

Typo(?): "Myanma state"

what do the black lines represent?
