The depiction of R-loop is incorrect in this figure. First, R-loop has three strands of nucleic acid molecules (dsDNA and ssRNA) not two. Second, R-loop is not formed due to the lack of introns on the RNA molecule. Instead, one strand of DNA is hybridized by the RNA molecule whereas the other strand does not, which forms the "loop" structure. In this figure, the same strand of DNA forms loops and hybridizes to the RNA, which is incorrect. Kmnip (talk) 00:27, 20 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]
