Controversial changes

@Praveenp and Aavindraa: There seems to be the beginning of an upload war here, which I'd like to stop before it starts. Commons' policy, in COM:UPLOADWAR is that if anyone objects to a change to a file, it should be reverted and (if appropriate) the new version should be uploaded under a new name. Here, Praveenp objected to Aavindraa's change to a brighter, higher-resolution image. Assuming Praveenp hasn't changed his mind, that means the original version of the file should stay here. If Aavindraa wants his version on Commons, he should upload it under a different name. --bjh21 (留言) 13:34, 12 September 2020 (UTC)

Praveenp's objection was that the new upload might have been a lithograph, which it is not. The darkness of the original upload is due to improper photography of the original canvas. Please let me know if there is any concern, but I didn't consider this a controversial change as it is a marked improvement. -- Aavindraa (留言) 17:00, 12 September 2020 (UTC)

@Aavindraa: You may think that this is an improvement, but it appears that Praveenp does not, and according to COM:UPLOADWAR that's enough to block the change. Unless Praveenp agrees to the change, the file should be reverted to the original version. --bjh21 (留言) 22:49, 12 September 2020 (UTC)

@Bjh21: Let's wait to hear what Praveenp thinks. The previously stated reason (that it was a lithograph and not a photograph of the oil on canvas) is invalid, as noted. I would prefer to avoid creating a new file if it can be done. -- Aavindraa (留言) 23:15, 12 September 2020 (UTC)
