Can someone update this image to the one currently in use in Mediawiki, namely https://commons.wikimedia.org/w/resources/src/mediawiki.action/images/redirect-ltr.svg ? -- [[User:Edokter]] {{talk}} 13:06, 27 April 2016 (UTC)
- Can we just upload it under new filename? I am weary of changing something that has been in use for so long. Some uses might require current form. --Jarekt (留言) 12:33, 28 April 2016 (UTC)
- @Jarekt: No. The file should reflect the current image used by MediaWiki, because it is used mainly by templates that mirror the redirect arrow used by the software, and they should be consistent. This is the only image that is upload-protected. All ohters in the category will be updated shortly (as I have already done here).
