That is NOT an Alexandrine!![edit]

That is an Indian Ringneck NOT and Alexandrine. They are two completely different birds and although closely related. Main difference is size, the alexandrine is a far bit bigger than the IRN.

That is definitely an Indian Ringneck Parakeet. The Alexandrine is larger, by about 14 cm, has a proportionately larger bill, a rosey-maroon shoulder patch, and males have a rose colored crescent at the nape as an extension of the black ring around their neck.
