Crown copyright expires 50 years from creation, so if the artwork from which the file is derived was first published in 1953, then I don't see a problem. Also, there are different rules for coats of arms: copyright often rests with the heralder drawing the image rather than the original grantee of the arms. DrKiernan (talk) 18:30, 2 February 2013 (UTC)
