This is a derivative work from my original

[edit]

I wish this was credited as a modified derivative of my original diagram as seen here: https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:St_Thomas_Christians_divisions.svg I am the creator of the original and this was modified and uncredited. — Preceding unsigned comment was added by 129.85.219.241 (talk) 15:26, 20 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Any body could claim I am the author of this file. You first provide valid evidences or proof to convince us that you are the real author. Then we will discuss the matter. Thanks. Kokkarani (talk) 17:16, 20 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Is this representation correct?

[edit]

It has been noted that an existing chart (https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:St_Thomas_Christians_divisions.svg) showing the divisions of Thomas Christians of Kerala was replaced by this new chart in many articles. I reverted those changes in English Wiki. This new chart need to be verified, before using in articles. I agree there is a mistake in the first chart that Malabar Independent church categorized a "reformed" church. That should be corrected . But coming to this chart (https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Saint_Thomas_Christian%27s_-_Divisions-_History.png) which is created by user:Kokkarani, there is a deliberate attempt made to distort historical facts. It is depicted that Puthenkoor (new loyalist) branch of Christians became Syrian Orthodox in 1665. That is NOT the fact. Also there are other points to be discussed. I am inviting other editors who are contributing to Kerala Christian articles to form an unbiased conclusion. Also requesting one or two Admins to intervene in this matter to avoid editing war. Request everyone to be patient till we reach a consensus. Thanks in Advance ---45.125.146.70 09:48, 30 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

No problem for any discussion and correction. It is for continuous improvement. You admit that the previous one has mistake and you reverted it in many places.Whats the point in reverting to a diagram which has mistake? Vandalism?Kokkarani (talk) 14:53, 30 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Once again I checked the original chart https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:St_Thomas_Christians_divisions.svg and realized that the categorization of Malabar Independent Syrian Church is NOT WRONG. It is listed as an independent Church (R-->REFORMED/INDEPENDENT). Hence I am striking off my previous comment.
Now I have a few questions to User:Kokkarani who created this new chart and attempting to replace the old chart with this one in all Wiki pages without giving any reasoning in talk page or any remarks in edit history:
1)In your chart why did you mention Kerala Christians as Syrian Christians from 52 AD onward? did Kerala Christians use Syrian liturgy from that period of time? Kerala Christian themselves or anyone else referred them as Syrian Christians in that period of time??

2)Why did Kerala Christians represent as Syrian Orthodox in 1665 in your chart?? Malankara church just started a relation with Syrian church by that time.

3)Why did Malabar Independent Syrian Church represent as "Oriental Orthodox" church? Officially this church is not part of Oriental Orthodox communion.

4)On what basis you categorized St.Thomas Evangelical church as 'Protestant Syrian'? Where is the reference for this categorization? -59.95.66.97 01:17, 4 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]
