Date of this photo and other Panoramio images of San Francisco by Roman Eugeniusz

The "Save our Giants" banner with the phone number clearly indicates that the photo was taken in 1992 (see e.g. [1][2][3]).

More generally regarding other photos by the same Panoramio photographer, which currently all carry 2011 as date based on the Panoramio upload date:

• These photos look analog, not digital, the EXIF data gives a scanner (instead of a camera),
• the cars (e.g. here or here) look more like 1980s or 1990s,
• the bus ad in this one is for a 1990 event,
• he titled this Chinatown photo (which apparently wasn't imported to Commons) "Photo of San Francisco,California,USA.(1989)"

What's more, the Panoramio-sourced geocoordinates are wildly wrong for many or most photos of this set (although not this one), see e.g. [4][5][6]. Regards, HaeB (talk) 21:24, 26 August 2018 (UTC)
