I've removed mongolia. Despite its historical ties to russia, there are very few slavic speakers there today. In particular, the united states, hungary, and austria all have larger populations and ratios of slavic speakers. We could introduce a new color to denote this relationship, but including it as it was was misleading. For reference, here are a number of "border" states, their number and percentage of slavic speakers according to ethnologue, and russian speakers in the united states for reference (I suspect total slavic speakers in the USA is closer to 1% but I have not added them all together as I have the other states as it would be a lot of work).
