Take note of a correction to your course map for the 1985 St. Pete GP.

After turn 6 the course continued down Beach st. took a 90 degree turn East on 2nd Ave NE. Ran out to the end of the pier. Then it did a 180 degree turn, headed west on 2nd Ave NE to a 90 degree left turn onto Bayshore Dr SE. The pit road went through the south parking lot of the convention center as shown. The second floor of the convention center was used as the media center. Cars and their drivers were brought up to the second floor via freight elevator for press interviews.
