Formatting[edit]

Just out of curiosity, do the colors mean anything (i.e. with respect to liberal / conservativism)? Also, why do the heights of the bars not progress from high to low? I mean, they generally do, but there doesn't seem to be any real order to it.Dryphi (talk) 21:39, 8 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

The colors don't appear to convey any information and as such are more distracting than helpful. The heights of the bars vary because the # of electors per state are not determined by population, so there can be distortions. That is what the graph helps to show. BUT I would like to see an update (i.e. 2015 not 2012). "year" should be visible on the graph. Walkingstick3 (talk) 03:07, 30 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]
