San Marino and Holy See

[edit]

The Holy See took part in the summit. San Marino participated and signed the communiqué Artemis Dread (talk) 17:23, 16 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Done for Vatican, but I'm lacking a source for San Marino, could you give it to me? MapperGuy87 (talk) 22:15, 16 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Missing signatories

[edit]

Signatories missing: San Marino

Gambia 2600:8807:AC0F:3900:6DEE:A5EF:A781:935B 18:16, 16 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I don't have the precise sources, please add some here. MapperGuy87 (talk) 22:16, 16 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Iraq withdrew

[edit]

The initial version with 83 signatories (countries + orgs) is in the archived link at Summit on Peace in Ukraine: Joint Communiqué on a Peace Framework (Q126689568) and the 17 June version 1 with Iraq and Rwanda both absent is at Summit on Peace in Ukraine: Joint Communiqué on a Peace Framework (Q126709583), which points to the archived official source 17 June 2024 v1.

Gambia and San Marino are both signatories since the first 16 June version. Boud (talk) 14:43, 17 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Will do. MapperGuy87 (talk) 16:36, 17 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Fixes needed

[edit]

Since I'm lacking the patience to wait for authorisation to upload a new version myself with the same name, and since creating a new file seems wasteful, here are my fixes for:

  • Iraq, Jordan, Rwanda: demote or promote to un-signed;
  • fix: San Marino: signed;
  • invisible fixes: Bosnia, Belgium - the fixes are needed in these countries' entries, but the countries were already coloured in in the map, which probably means that some other countries' entries cover too much. People looking at the map won't notice, but it's better to fix the errors. Here's a patch file:

Done. Now I can upload. Colombia withdrew at the last minute before the summit; the Holy See did not sign the Communique, so Vatican City should be coloured for an unsigned-participant. I did these. Boud (talk) 20:14, 17 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Own work?

[edit]

@MapperGuy87: Did you really trace all those country outlines yourself onto that particular map projection? I know that there are lots of free-licensed maps, and some PD ones, "floating around", but you really should say what the source is if you didn't trace the borders' x,y coordinates and "paths" (in svg terminology) yourself. The file is one and a half million bytes long - the information content is a huge amount of work for one person to do alone. Boud (talk) 20:35, 17 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Of course I didn't, I wasn't paying attention to this, and it's my bad. I will try and be more attentive next time. Thanks for pointing it out! I've changed the source to represent the original file. MapperGuy87 (talk) 20:50, 17 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
OK, thanks :). Boud (talk) 20:59, 17 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Antigua and Barbuda and Mauritania

[edit]

Antigua and Barbuda joined the final communique of the summit, but did not participate in the summit (sources - [1], [2]). Mauritania participated in the summit, but did not sign the communique (sources - List of participating states and organisations (as of 17 June 2024)). ✓ Done The archived version of the 17 June official list Summit on Peace in Ukraine: Joint Communiqué on a Peace Framework (Q126734142) where Mauritania is listed will take a few hours or so before Wayback has it ready for general access. Boud (talk) 20:44, 19 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Zambia signed. As usual, it will take a few hours or so before Wayback has its new copy ready for general access; look at the live page while waiting for the archived version. Boud (talk) 13:20, 20 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
